EPISD Education Foundation Scholarship

We awarded $63,000 in college scholarships this year to outstanding EPISD high school graduates. Our scholarship recipients attend the colleges and universities of their choice to help them achieve their dreams. The students are going to universities all over Texas as well as Harvard College and the University of Pennsylvania. The EPISD Education Foundation has awarded $796,000 in scholarships over the last decade.

Funding was made possible for these scholarships due to the generous support of the EPISD employees and the business community. The El Paso Electric Company donated $10,000 for students attending UTEP and El Paso Community College. United Blood Services contributed $5,000 and Sierra Providence donated $2,000 for students pursuing a career in health sciences. Their support is greatly appreciated.
